How long is the agreement?
The standard agreement is for a 3 year period. After the 3 years, you can return the charging unit, continue the plan on a month to month basis, or buyout the lease any time after the 3 years (see buyout schedule in lease agreement).
How will I be billed?
Initially, we will email you a monthly invoice, but have plans to streamline that process by applying those charges directly on your utility bill. We can also accommodate quarterly billing if that is more convenient for you.
Do you offer rates and programs that work with this charger?
You can initially participate in our costs savings programs listed on the website and as we develop partnerships with your energy service provider, you’ll be able to bundle those savings with even more rates and programs that are compatible with the charging unit. We will contact you as those become available.
What if I move from my home?
If you move within our territory you have the option to renew your contract plus a $250 transfer fee, and we will get you setup in your new home. If you move outside our territory or do not want to remain a customer on this service, the remainder of monthly fees, per the lease agreement, is due at time of cancellation. You will have the option to return the charger or purchase it for the price listed in buyout schedule contained in the lease agreement.
What if I opt out early?

What if I rent my home?
Due to the modification and upgrade of the electrical system within the residence, we require the owner of the residence to complete the agreement with us. Once they are on-board, we would be happy to set you up with the new charger.
Is this available for a multi-unit condo?
At this time, we are unable to provide the service to multi-family dwellings. However, we are working on solutions, so please send us your contact information and we will be in touch shortly.
Is this available for free-standing condos?
Yes, if the unit has a garage and electricity is not considered “common use” for the condo complex.
I don’t have a garage. Can I still participate?
At this time, the charging unit must be located within a garage. However, we are working on solutions that are better suited for outdoor applications.
Do I need WIFI at my home?
Yes, the “smart” charging unit must have a reliable WIFI connection to work properly. The WIFI is critical for participation in rates and programs as well.
I have a detached garage. Can I still participate?
We will do our best to accommodate this situation. Depending on complexity of the setup, there may be cases where the electrical upgrade is beyond our standard installation; however, you may still have the option to cover the additional costs at reduced rates through our program.
How do I participate in the rates and programs?

Can I use my own charger to participate in the rates and program?
At this time, our rates and programs are only compatible with the equipment provided under our plan. Options for “bring your own charger” may be available at a later time.
How long does the process take?
We will contact you within 1-2 business days to schedule the installation appointment. Depending on the complexity of your installation, an installer may need visit your home for a pre-visit. You can generally expect to have the installation complete within 2 weeks of signing up.
Is there down payment or deposit
No down payment or deposit.
How long does the installation take?
Due to many differences in electrical setups, it is difficult to estimate the exact time to complete the work. Typically installations are completed within 4 hours.
What if I have a problem with the charger?
Call or email and we will get you take care of quickly. Some problems can be solved over the phone. But others may require replacement of the charging unit. In that case, we will send you a replacement within 2 days along with a pre-paid shipping label for you to send us the old unit. No need to waste your time waiting for a technician to arrive.
Does this work for my vehicle?
The charging unit is compatible with nearly every electric vehicle model. For Tesla, we will provide an adaptor that will allow you to connect to this charging unit.
How fast does it charge my car?
Depending on your vehicle, you can expect to receive 10-25 miles of range added to your battery for every hour of charging. In comparison, the 120V charger that was provided with your vehicle provides about 2-5 miles of range for every hour of charging.
What if I want multiple charging units?

What if I want to share one charging unit between multiple vehicles at my home?
You may charge multiple vehicles with one charging unit, however participation in future rates and programs may be limited to one vehicle per charging unit.
What is a standard installation?
A typical installation includes replacement of the circuit breaker, electric cable run of up to 75ft and installation of an outlet to plug in the charging unit.
What if my installation is not standard?
Occasionally we run into situations with added complexity such as long runs of wire, electric panel upgrades, finished basements or other issues. We will do our best to accommodate your situation. Depending on complexity of the setup, there may be cases where the electrical upgrade is beyond our standard installation; however, you may still have the option to cover the additional costs at reduced rates through our program.
How soon after signup can I begin charging my electric vehicle with the new charger?
It typically takes around 7-10 days from signup until the installation is complete. We will keep you informed every step of the way.
